Yoga for Anxiety and Depression


Whether you're seeking to manage the symptoms of anxiety and depression or simply looking for a mindful approach to self-care, this carefully crafted 75-minute class is designed to offer you a safe and supportive space to address and manage the challenges of anxiety and depression through the power of yoga.



Led by Karalyn Bord, LMT, RYT

Karalyn Bord, LMT, RYT has been a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist for nearly 20 years and a Registered Yoga Teacher since 2010. She was drawn to the study of alternative and preventative therapies as a teen in search of treatment for chronic back pain, she eventually found relief through various forms of exercise, yoga, meditation and massage.

Karalyn considers herself a holistic practitioner, and believes in the power of relaxation massage and yoga to address anxiety, depression and sleep disorders. Applying the knowledge she has gained over the last 30 years, Karalyn strives through massage and yoga to facilitate a healing experience for her clients with the belief that our mental and physical health are intertwined and that both need to be considered for healing to take place.

What to Expect

This class combines gentle yoga poses combined with breath work and meditation techniques that stimulate the glandular system and the vagus nerve leading to an overall feeling of well being.

NO PRIOR YOGA EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, but please be aware there will be poses seated on the floor. All yoga supplies will be provided, however you are free to bring your own yoga mat if you choose.
